Smartnet is an Internet service provider

with a fixed wireless backbone that provides high-speed broadband Internet and Intranet services including point-to-point and point-to-multi-point data communications to businesses in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

These data connections can be used for Internet access, digital private lines, voice and video. Our Network provides connections to 90% of the business areas on the Island.

Similar to the US, Puerto Rico’s primary source of congestion is “last mile” connectivity. In Puerto Rico the situation is further aggravated by our rural geography. Currently, Smartnet is the most viable alternative throughout Puerto Rico for high-speed data lines normally offered by traditional telephone companies. Customers with high bandwidth requirements can elect to get services from Smartnet in 10-15 days time, whereas a similar circuit from one of the other carriers may take 1-3months to install. Broadband wireless equipment is also more readily available and can be installed in remote areas within days of ordering, telecommunications service company, offering customers integrated solutions with the highest level of technology, through strategic alliances were it can bring the highest value, support and efficiency possible.

Smartnet provides alarm monitoring and customers service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. During regular business hours, Smartnet responds to inquiries within one hour and resolves problems within eight. The reliability of our network and the service levels has earned Smartnet the trust and loyal business of a highly technical and service demanding clientele. As part of our scope of work, Smartnet will perform maintenance on the components of your system using our own technical resources. We have developed our own in-house service expertise to increase our ability to resolve problems quickly, independent of a manufacturer’s representative or the factory.
